Frequently Asked Questions

i. Do you travel for weddings & sessions?

Absolutely! I’m always down for an adventure. Whether you’re planning a destination wedding, an intimate elopement somewhere special, or simply want your session outside my usual area, I’m happy to travel. Travel fees may apply depending on the location, so tell me where we’re headed and we’ll go from there!

ii. Will you help us plan our session?

Of course! From choosing a location and figuring out what to wear to deciding on the best time for lighting, I’m here to help with all the little details. You don’t need to show up knowing how to pose or what to do, that’s my job. You just show up as yourselves and I’ll take it from there.

iii. What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens, I get it! If you need to reschedule, reach out as soon as possible and we’ll find a new date based on availability. Retainers are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new date according to the terms of your contract. Wedding and event date changes are handled separately due to the nature of reserving an entire date, and all cancellation and rescheduling details will be clearly outlined before you book.

iV. How will I receive my photos?

Your final images will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can download, share, and favorite your photos. Prints and other keepsakes can also be ordered, and custom albums are available if you want to turn those digital memories into something you can actually hold.

V. How far in advance should I book?

The sooner, the better. Especially for weddings! Wedding dates can book months (and sometimes over a year) in advance, while regular sessions tend to have a little more flexibility. If you have a specific date or season in mind, reach out early so we can get you on the calendar.

Vi. I’m awkward in front of the camera, will you help me pose?

Absolutely and I promise, almost everyone tells me this! You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera. I’ll guide and prompt you throughout your session while still giving you space to be yourselves. My goal is for things to feel comfortable and natural, not like you’re holding a pose and waiting for me to take the picture.

Vii. How long will it take to receive my photos?

I know waiting is the hardest part! Regular sessions are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks, while full wedding galleries are delivered within 6–8 weeks. Wedding couples can expect a little sneak peek within 48–72 hours because I know there's no way I'm making you wait weeks to see something.

VIIi. What do I need to officially book?

Ready to make it official? Your date is officially reserved once your signed contract and non-refundable retainer are received. Until both are completed, dates remain available to other clients.
